Is it possible to get a college degree in the medical field online?

I am considering getting into the medical field and was wondering if I can get a degree online. I have no desire to commute every day (the closest colleges are all at least 30-45 minutes away by car and gas is almost $4.00 a gallon and rising) and I refuse to live on campus. (I already have a home and I'm going to have a hard enough time paying for tuition as it is without adding room and board fees on top of it.) Am I chasing a hopeless dream or is there a way to get a medical degree from only online courses? I'll take anything but ER nurse or anything that requires me to deal with vomiting and severed appendages. If getting into the medical world is out of the question, I can always fall back on graphic design or something...
