Ok, so you have to take the Flat to the vet first to get all of its shots before walking it. You should potty train it in your backyard only. let it interact with your golden retriever(only if that animal has all of its shots too) i dont normally use the backyeard to walk my pomerian but when it is able to go outside after getting all of its shots, bring your golden retriever with it, so it can feel comfterable when the lead. Oh and when they look like they are fighting, they're just playing. you should watch some eposiodes on the dog whisper and on animal planet the show "its me or the dog"
