How do I fix a spot on my end table without refinishing the whole table?

My end table was the victim of a Glade Plug-In oil spill...it ate right through the finish all the way to the natural wood! It is a spot about the size of a quarter. It is not a fancy or expensive piece of furniture, but it matches my bedroom ensemble and I'd hate to get rid of it or end up refinishing everything in the room because it will look different if I refinish it! The damaged surface is pine and was purchased at a local chain furniture store. Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!
