Im losing the color Blue in my Panasonic Viera 1080p tv?

I recently purchased a 42" panasonic Viera Tv and hooked it up to my ps3 and sony bravia home theatre system with 2 monster 1000 series cables. Sometimes when i turn my ps3 on i lose the color red and my whole screen has a blue color to it. all other colors are present besides red. I can correct the problem by turning my ps3 off and then back on or unplugging my hdmi cable and plugging them back in. what may be the problem.? I purchased monster 1000 series cables thinking that may be the problem. It did not solve the problem it just made it happen less often.
