What are your thoughts about directed organ donation?

I have to disagree with the mes here. It is better to have the medical community decide where the heart goes. In this way, you can ensure that it is the best match (genetically/physiologically) and have a situation where you maximize the likelihood of the donation resulting in a saved life. Remember, giving to someone means someone else doesn't get that organ. It also prevents people from secretly selling organs. The only exception should be for people that are donating a kidney because you can greatly increase the # of donations through directed donations.
