Will a pack of wolves come after me?

I was on a seed , and found a wolf. I walked around with him while he was untamed , and then I wanted to see how strong he was. So I um... Pushed him off a ledge not knowing how deep it was. So then he died.... So but I didnt like hit him off the edge , you know , nudge him off. So will wolves be after me?
