Question about high grade pap smear?

I am looking for opinons, I have had the best and worst year. I got pregnant just over a year ago, and at my first ob appt I had the usual pap. It came back as high grade, I have since had 3 colposcopies (sp?) and a biopsy. We had planned on having the surgery to remove the bad cells, but after the biopsy my doctor decided we could wait on the surgery. Well I just got the results of my most recent pap, and it's still high grade. We scheduled another copol for the end of January. What I am looking for opinions on is should I just tell my doctor I want the surgery? I now have a 5 month old daughter, and a nodule on my thyroid that is also being monitored for cancer. I am so tired of appts and being disappointed. any advice, expieriences or opinions welcome. Thanks
