How do I care for baby bird eggs?

I was working outside when I found a nest that looked cared for so far but I think I scared off the mom. I'm afraid she won't come back and am worried about the babies- they need a chance. how can I incubate them and care for them carefully so that I can eventually release them into the wild? Thanks!
