Do bad dreams aculate?

I didn't have a bad dream in two years, mostly because of my dream catcher. My dream catcher fell last night while I was asleep, and I had a horrible dream. I was running late to a car for a band concert, so I had to run the rest of the way. When I was running through the park i saw a man with a gun, shooting another man. Needless to say I missed the concert and went home. While I was there my mom and I were attacked by the same man I saw in the park. He had a wife who chased me with a chainsaw and two other accomplices who patted the dirt and left. TWO PART QUESTION HELP ME WITH BOTH PLEASE. the dream, and the dream catcher.
