Coloring my hair and need a reference.?

Okay my natural hair color in dirty blonde. I'm coloring it like a chocolate brown. Then I am coloring the tips maybe purple, or redish pink, I'm not sure yet. I can't seem to find a picture with a solid color on top then JUST the tips colored a different color, like if you were to tye your hair up and like dip it in paint is the best wya I can describe it. But I need a picture to show my hair dresser. Please help.
